We are communities of faith partnering with God to bring a new future for those facing extreme poverty. We seek to walk with the poor in such a way that they become active agents in overcoming their own poverty. Solis works with nationals in Lodwar, Kenya. These nationals provide mentoring and distribute micro-grants to the extreme poor, empowering new entrepreneurs to develop income-generating businesses. Launched in 2005, the members and supporters of the Solis Foundation understand that poverty is the root cause for many of the social, political and economic challenges that many societies face. We are in the business of connecting those who are generous with those who are entrepreneurial, to change through empowerment.
